Our Cottage & Camping Soap is a fantastic soap for anyone who loves to be in the great outdoors!
Neem Oil is a key ingredient in this soap. Neem is an evergreen tree, also known as Indian Lilac. Its oil contains anti-bacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-viral properties as well as a compound called "Azadirachtin", which is known to repel mosquitoes, ticks, fleas & ants. Because of these benefits, we have added Neem Oil to our Camper's Soap along with the addition of Citronella, Lavender & Lemongrass Essential Oils, each of which have their own uniquely wonderful benefits and are also reputed to help keep those nasty insects at bay! Cottage & Camping Soap's combination of exotic skin-soothing, nurturing oils and essential oils give you the perfect balance for cleanliness, helping to repel annoying insects, and being earth & water friendly! It will leave your hair and skin feeling soft too!
One of the reasons that cottagers & hikers find the insects so annoying is that many people simply bring their pretty smelling shampoos & soaps from home and, while they do smell lovely, the bugs think so too! While our soap is not meant to replace insect repellent (hopefully you are using a Natural Insect Repellent, for your skin's and the environment's sake), it certainly does help cut down on the amount of insect repellent that you would otherwise need to use and the frequency of applying it.
Cottage & Camping Soap can be used from head to toe, as a hair, face & body wash. No need to bring separate items, which is especially helpful for hikers. One less thing to carry!
